Stitchy Widgets at the Griffin Needle Challenge

The Object:  To sew a complete medieval outfit for Duncan.

The Challenge:  To do it in less than 24 hours in a mostly period manner.

The Team:  Team Captain Aedhelwald, our model Duncan, Bredei, Susan, Anna, Emma and Hannah.

The Theme:  Late 14th to early 15th century western European.

The Outfit:  Lesser noble or workmanlike. The outfit will consist of braies (underwear), chauses (leggings), shirt (undershirt), cote (over tunic), headwear including coif, wool hat or hood, and other accessories such as leather belt, garters and cloak.
